PROMOTIONAL PROGRAMS & Eligibility

Not sure if your business or event qualifies for participation in a partner program? Here is a rundown of eligibility requirements. In general, we work to promote on-island businesses whose primary purpose is the generation of additional room nights at Amelia Island lodging facilities and who support the brand image of Amelia Island. All listing requests will be reviewed and approved or declined as deemed appropriate.

Accommodations Listings

Accommodation listings are intended for lodging partners whose businesses are located on Amelia Island and are registered as bed tax collectors with the Nassau County Tax Collector. Only valid Amelia Island lodging establishments or rental companies may be listed under Accommodations.

The business name must be the same as its registered legal name, unless a copy of the fictitious name registration with the State of Florida is provided. Ad hoc alterations of business names will not be accepted. Rental properties located in Fernandina Beach city limits must provide a copy of their short term rental permit. The printed Visitor Guide contains an accommodations section and will be printed once per calendar year, typically in the first calendar quarter of the year.

Website Special Sections

Event Calendar

The event calendar on the website is intended to promote events that drive overnight visitation to Amelia Island and occur on Amelia Island. Special consideration may be given to events that enhance the tourism experience in a way that may drive repeat visitation or significantly increase tourism expenditures, and events that are promoted by the submitting organization within AITDC's target markets will be favorably reviewed. Events should make a positive reflection on the destination brand. Area events taking place off-island may be considered should they present a unique experience for overnight visitors to Amelia Island and contribute substantial economic impact. Events may be submitted for consideration through the event calendar on www.AmeliaIsland.com/calendar. Submitted events must contain all requested information listed on the website form. All event requests will be reviewed and approved as deemed by the AICVB. Should event details change, the submitter will be responsible for resubmitting their calendar event on the website. Please allow a one-week turnaround for review of an event and updates to event details. It is the event submitter's responsibility to check whether their listing has been published and to understand the eligibility considerations. Listings submitted less than four weeks prior to an event may not be considered. A maximum of two events per calendar month from a single organization will be considered.

Meetings Section

Only valid venues located on Amelia Island that provide meeting space may be listed under the meetings section. Meetings venues are listed on the AmeliaIsland.com website in randomized order with each page refresh. The business name must be the same as its registered legal name, unless a copy of the fictitious name registration with the State of Florida is provided. Ad hoc alterations of business names will not be accepted. Submissions must include high-resolution photos for web publication.

Weddings Section

Only valid accommodations partners located on Amelia Island that provide space for a wedding ceremony, reception, or rehearsal may be listed under the weddings venues section. Other non-lodging partners on Amelia Island that provide space for a wedding ceremony, reception, or rehearsal may be considered for listing under the weddings vendors section. Valid businesses located on Amelia Island that provide relevant wedding-related services may also be considered for listing under the weddings resources section. Venues and vendors are listed on the AmeliaIsland.com website in randomized order with each page refresh. The business name must be the same as its registered legal name, unless a copy of the fictitious name registration with the State of Florida is provided. Ad hoc alterations of business names will not be accepted.
